Rentals & Party Packages
Schedule your next family or company event in one of the beautiful group picnic sites or covered pavilions. Park reservations may be made online, in person or by phone at the Parks Administrative Office (830) 221-4350, up to 18 months in advance. Payment is due in full at the time the reservation is made. Payments are accepted by check, cash or VISA, Discover, MasterCard and American Express. A 2.75% service fee will apply to all card transactions.

Landa Park
Reserving a pavilion, picnic area, volleyball court, or other amenity in Landa Park is easy! Reservation rates vary based on size of the location and amenities offered, but some begin as low as $55 for New Braunfels residents.

Rental Policies
Individual Picnic Space Fees
Per Article 1. Sec. 86-2 of the City of New Braunfels Code of Ordinances, individual picnic spaces are available throughout the park system on a first come, first served basis. Park rangers will collect a $25 per picnic space fee in season, Easter weekend through the first weekend in October, in Landa Park, Fischer Park and Hinman Island Park.
With proof of residency, citizens living inside the corporate city limits of New Braunfels will not be charged for the first picnic space. Picnic spaces include but are not limited to tables, chairs, blankets and/or canopies.
Cancellations/Refunds
- A full refund will be issued with a cancellation two weeks or more prior to the reservation date.
- March-September: A half refund will be issued if less than two weeks notice of cancellation is given.
- No refund will be provided if the renting party fails to show and no cancellation notice is received prior to the date of the reservation.
Inclement Weather Policy
Weather rain outs will be determined by Parks and Recreation Department staff. If a rain out is declared, the reservation holder may reschedule the site (at no fee) for a day within three months of the initial reservation date - provided the Parks office is notified within the first three working days after the original reservation.
Volleyball Court Reservations
The volleyball courts in Landa Park may be rented for exclusive usage. Companies or individuals picnicking in the park are encouraged to rent a court for a group activity. Volleyball courts #1 and #2 are located in Landa Park on Golf Course Road next to the Landa Park Aquatic Complex. Court #3 is located in Landa Park adjacent to picnic area #9 (no light at this location). . Volleyballs are not provided.

Das Rec Party Packages
Let Das Rec help make your next birthday party a blast with some exciting themed packages for our pool birthday parties! Party options are currently available on weekends only with two 2-hour time slots available:
Time slots: 11:00am - 1:00pm or 2:30pm - 4:30pm

Fischer Park Party Packages
Choose from one of our themes to ignite your guests’ interest in the natural world. Our package includes two hours of reserved time in our indoor Nature Education Center, one hour of activities hosted by one of our staff members, tables and chairs, and basic table covers.
Themes: Butterflies and Things That Fly, Animal Explorers, Happy Campers (add on fishing for an additional fee), & Dino Roar

Landa Park Aquatic Complex
Make a splash at the Landa Park Aquatic Complex - host your next birthday party with us! Pool party packages are only available during the regular summer operation hours for the Landa Park Aquatics Complex (LPAC). Private rentals are only available on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Party Packages
Basic Pool Party Package - $175
- Two hours for 15 people
- Birthday party room, tables and chairs for party guests
- Bag and t-shirt for the birthday person
Please note: Additional guests are charged a spectator rate of $4. Plates, napkins, cups, and plasticware are not included.
Private Rentals
All three pools at the LPAC are available to rent outside of operating hours. The following guidelines apply to booking a private pool rental:
- Please review the rental policies.
- Private pool rentals can only be made outside of open swim hours and cannot be booked on a day the pool is closed or booked for a special event.
- Rental cannot be made on holiday weekends (Memorial Day, July 4th & Labor Day).
- Bookings must be made at least 7 days in advance of the rental.
- Rentals are made in minimum of two hours time blocks.
- Rentals are subject to available staffing.
- Rentals of the Springfed and Olympic pool may only occur in the morning.
- Lifeguard staff are included in the rental fee to monitor guest safety, not supervise party guests. Adults present at party must be actively supervising the party.
- Guests who wish to stay during open swim hours must purchase a wristband to stay at the facility during open swim hours.
- Below are the rates for rentals and maximum guests allowed per rental space:

Weather Policy
The Landa Park Mini Golf Course will close during any type of inclement weather. If the facility closes, rain checks will only be issued if the facility closes for the remainder of the day. No refund will be issued.
Landa Recreation Center
Parties at the Landa Recreation Center are available September through April. Parties must be booked a minimum of 14 days in advance.

Landa Haus Indoor Event Rental facility
This climate-controlled event facility accommodates up to 150 people, and comes complete with outdoor pavilion that overlooks Landa Lake.
Make plans to hold your family reunion, business meeting, wedding reception, seasonal party, or other special event at the Landa Haus, located in the heart of Landa Park, at 360 Aquatic Circle. Reservations for Landa Haus are taken for dates up to 18 months in advance of the current date.
