Join us to help keep our beautiful waterways clean and free of litter on October 14 for the 7th Annual Dos Rios Watershed Cleanup!

Event Information

Volunteers will arrive at event Headquarters at Headwaters at the Comal to receive breakfast, clean-up supplies, and a participation gift before leaving to the clean up locations. Clean up locations include city parks and greenspaces but participants may suggest another location. Each clean-up location will have dumpsters for trash bag collection and participants may leave or stay once clean-up activities are finished. City staff will collect the bags of litter and ensure that they are disposed of properly. Wearing long pants are close-toed shoes are encouraged as well as sunscreen, bug spray, etc. The event will be held rain or shine.

Picking up Litter on the Guadalupe River

Rockin' R has offered their river raft services for groups looking to pick up litter from a raft on the Guadalupe River between the Gruene Rd. bridge and Loop 337. For volunteer opportunities, contact Phillip Quast by email or calling 830-221-4651.
