On November 30, 2019, at approximately 9:45pm, officers with the New Braunfels Police Department responded to the 100 block of North Mesquite for a report of shots fired. Officers arrived to find an adult male that was deceased inside a vehicle that was parked along the street. Eyewitnesses reported hearing several gunshots and then seeing a man flee the area on foot. Next of kin has been notified. The investigation into this case is ongoing, but Detectives believe that the victim and the suspect had mutual acquaintances.
