City Recycle Center

A sign at the entrance of the City Recycle Center

The City Recycle Center, located at 488 S. Castell Avenue, is available for New Braunfels residents and businesses to bring additional materials for recycling.

To better manage the increased traffic volume and contaminated recyclables from customers outside of New Braunfels, the City Recycle Center will require proof of residency before accepting recyclables. A valid ID or utility bill with a New Braunfels address will be accepted.

Those who are not residents of the City of New Braunfels can drop off recyclables at the Comal County Recycling and Chipping Center located at 281 Resource Drive or at Green Guy Recycling located at 937 TX Hwy 80 in San Marcos. Since other providers operate these centers, we recommend calling ahead or checking their websites for updated hours, accepted items, rules, and fees.

Hours of Operation

Tuesday through Saturday:  8am to 4pm

Closed for lunch from 12pm to 12:30pm
