Veterans Day Parade & Ceremony

Saturday, November 9, 2024

Join the New Braunfels community as we honor veterans who served our country so that we may enjoy the freedoms they fought so hard to protect.

About

The City of New Braunfels is inviting residents to honor local veterans at this year’s Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony in downtown New Braunfels, beginning at 10am on Saturday, November 9th, 2024. The parade will start at 10 a.m. and will be followed by a ceremony at 11 a.m. the Prince Solms Park Veterans Monument, 100 Liebscher Drive, featuring comments from local dignitaries.

The parade will feature several local veterans’ organizations and floats from local non-profit agencies and will be led by this year’s Grand Marshal: Retired United States Air Force Colonel Mickey Addison who has more than 30 years of military service including two deployments to the Middle East. He is a veteran of Operation Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom and his military decorations include the Legion of Merit, the Defense Superior Service Medal, and the Bronze Star.
