April 21st, the City's contractor closed Conrads Lane to one lane of traffic in order to reconstruct the roadway and install a new culvert bridge at the low water crossing near Conrads Lane and Goodwin Lane.
Starting Monday, June 9, Goodwin Lane will close from Orion to Dove Hollow/Arroyo Verde for construction of a new bridge over Alligator Creek and improvements in front of Oak Creek Elementary.
The flow of traffic will only be eastbound (towards IH-35) during this phase of the project, which is expected to last until July 30th. The detour for westbound traffic will be to continue on IH-35 to FM 306 and then to Goodwin Lane. No through truck traffic will be permitted on Lonesome Quail, Oak Creek Way, and Morning Quail.
