Many City of New Braunfels facilities will be closed Friday through Monday, December 23^rd through December 26^th, 2022, in observance of the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day holidays. Additionally, those facilities will be closed on Monday, Jan. 2^nd, 2023, in observance of the New Year’s Holiday. This includes: 

• City Hall
• Municipal Court
• The Public Library
• Parks & Recreation administrative offices
• The Fischer Park Nature Center
• Solid Waste and Recycling administrative offices
• The City Recycling Center
• The Westside Community Center

Please note: 

• There will be no changes to residential collection of garbage, recycling, or green waste due to the holidays this year, with collections remaining on their regular Monday-to-Thursday schedule. Additionally, the City Recycle Center will remain closed on Saturday Dec. 24.
• The Public Library and the Westside Community Center will have modified hours of operation from 9am to 6pm Monday through Thursday (Dec. 19 – Dec. 22). Both facilities will then be closed Friday through Monday (Dec. 23-26). For New Year’s, both the Library and the WCC will close at 5pm on Saturday (Dec. 31) and will be closed Sunday & Monday (Jan. 1 & 2).
• Das Rec will have regular hours of operation from 5am to 9pm on Friday (Dec. 23), will be closed on Saturday (Dec. 24) and Sunday (Dec. 25), and will resume normal business hours on Monday (Dec. 26). For New Year’s, Das Rec will have modified hours of operation from 8am to 5pm on Saturday (Dec. 31), and will resume normal Sunday operating hours from 10am to 6pm on Sunday (Jan. 1).
• The Landa Park Golf Course at Comal Springs will have regular hours of operation on Friday (Dec. 23), will close at 3pm on Saturday (Dec. 24), will close for the day on Sunday (Dec. 25), and will resume normal hours of operation on Monday (Dec. 26). For New Year’s, the Golf Course will only be closed on Sunday (Jan. 1).
