The deadline for submitting applications for the City of New Braunfels Fire Department Citizens Fire Academy is fast approaching. Applications for the 2023 class are being accepted online through March 31, 2023.
The Citizens Fire Academy provides an in-depth look at the New Braunfels Fire Department covering topics like fire inspections, fire prevention, fire operations, EMS services, search and rescue, and more. The 2023 Citizen Fire Academy class begins April 4th, 2023, and will meet every Tuesday through June 20th, from 6pm to 9pm, at the NBFD Training Facility located at 424 South Castell Avenue.
Participants must be 18 years old and live or work within New Braunfels city limits. Applications are available online at www.newbraunfels.gov/fireacademy.
