The City of New Braunfels will be hosting an open house public meeting to go over the design plans for the proposed Alligator Creek Linear Park and Trail. That meeting is set for June 5th, 2023, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the NBU Service Center on FM 306.
The Alligator Creek Trail is part of the City of New Braunfels Hike and Bike Trail Plan and includes multi-use paths as well as links to neighborhoods along Geronimo Creek and Alligator Creek. Over the last few years, several commercial and residential developments have installed portions of the trail in their area. To help link those segments together in a seamless way, the City contracted with Vickrey & Associates to coordinate with stakeholders, determine potential trail alignments, identify future funding, and develop preliminary designs.
“This open house, come-and-go public meeting is a chance for residents to see the plans that have been developed for Alligator Creek Trail,” said Garry Ford, Director of Transportation and Capital Improvements. “It’s also a chance to ask questions and get answers directly from City staff and the design team.”
