Lock, Take, & Hide

Vehicle burglaries are often crimes of opportunity, with thieves targeting unlocked vehicles or those with valuables in plain sight. To reduce the risk of theft, follow the simple "Lock, Take, and Hide" plan: lock your doors, take valuables with you, or hide them from view. Additionally, avoid leaving keys in the car, use alarms, park in well-lit areas, and consider anti-theft devices like steering wheel locks or tracking systems. Always report suspicious activity to the New Braunfels Police Department at 911 or call the non-emergency number at (830) 221-4100.
