The City of New Braunfels is inviting residents to a public workshop to showcase the latest effort in the development of the City’s Multimodal Thoroughfare Plan (MMTP), including a review of proposed changes to the City’s Thoroughfare Plan. The public workshop is set for Thursday, May 22nd, 2025, from 6:30pm to 8pm at New Braunfels City Hall.
The New Braunfels Regional Thoroughfare Plan was last updated in 2012 and outlines where future roads could be placed as the community continues to grow and property redevelops. You can view the current Thoroughfare Plan and Map by visiting www.newbraunfels.gov/thoroughfare.
The upcoming in-person public workshop will give residents a chance to review the proposed changes to the map, view supporting project exhibits, and provide feedback on future thoroughfare options. That public workshop is set for Thursday, May 22nd, 2025, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at New Braunfels City Hall, located at 550 Landa Street.
For those that cannot attend the meeting but would like to still provide feedback, the meeting materials and an online comment form will be available from May 22nd to June 22nd, 2025, at www.newbraunfels.gov/thoroughfare.
