Adopt a Spot Clean-Up Program
The City of New Braunfels is committed to protecting local waterways, and the Adopt-A-Spot River Clean-Up program encourages residents to get involved. This program raises awareness, supports a cleaner environment for the community and wildlife, and gives volunteers the opportunity to adopt a location—along the river, in parks, or even in neighborhoods—for regular litter clean-up.
Volunteers can schedule clean-up events and pick up supplies at the Municipal Building (424 S. Castell Ave). City staff will provide guidance and all the materials needed to get started. You can choose any location you have permission to access, and if you're unsure where to start, we’re happy to help you find the right spot. After each clean-up, groups are asked to submit a brief report to share what they found.
